On November 20,2017, Kelly Hunnicutt, a 37 year-old with developmental disabilities and cerebral palsy was assaulted by one of her caregivers at The Bert Muller Home, operated by PARC, Inc. Kelly was grabbed by the throat and pushed into a wall by one of the people responsible for her well-being. The caregiver has been arrested, and charged with abuse of a disabled person.
