Support House Bill 1369

For far too long, nursing homes and assisted living facilities in Florida have been permitted to operate without adequate liability insurance. A new Bill was introduced in the Florida House of Representatives on January 8, 2018 which is designed to address this issue. House Bill 1369 would require nursing homes and A.L.F.’s to maintain professional liability coverage in the amount of at least $2 Million per claim. This Bill was on the Civil Justice and Claims Subcommittee’s agenda this morning. We encourage you to contact your State legislators to voice your support this much-needed bill.
